Closing Conference - 26th May 2022

The Centre for Resilience and Socio-Emotional Health at the University of Malta organised the national closing seminar on 26th May 2022. The seminar was held at the University of Malta Valletta campus but participants also joined online, with most of the participants being specialised support educators in schools and services. Prof. Ilaria Grazzani, project coordinator, and Dr. Valeria Cavioni, from the University of Milano Bicocca, Italy, spoke about the project and the PROMEHS Programme and Manuals for schools, while Prof. Carmel Cefai made a brief presentation on the evaluation of the impact of the programme which was carried out by the University of Malta. Prof Sue Roffey, from Growing Great Schools Worldwide, made a presentation on a more caring and compassionate post-COVID education.

Opening Conference - 6th November 2020

Fis-6 ta’ Novembru 2020, iċ-Ċentru għar-Reżiljenza u s-Saħħa Soċjo-Emozzjonali fl-Università ta’ Malta organizza webinar ta’ sagħtejn online dwar is-Saħħa Mentali tal-Istudenti tal-Iskejjel matul il-COVID-19, bħala parti mill-proġett iffinanzjat mill-UE PROMEHS.

Il-webinar ġie introdott mill- Professur Carmel Cefai , Direttur fiċ-Ċentru għar-Reżiljenza u s-Saħħa Soċjali Emozzjonali, u mill- Professur Ilaria Grazzani , Università ta’ Milano-Bicocca, koordinatur tal-proġett. Mollie O'Riordan , Uffiċjal ta' Appoġġ għar-Riċerka fiċ-Ċentru, ippreżentat il-proġett PROMEHS, inklużi l-għanijiet u l-għanijiet, id-disinn u l-metodoloġija tar-riċerka u r-rwol speċifiku tal-Università ta' Malta fil-proġett.

Fit-tieni parti tal-webinar, panel ta’ esperti ddiskuta l-impatt tal-COVID-19 fuq l-edukazzjoni, il-benessri u s-saħħa mentali, b’interventi mill- Professur Valerie Sollars (Università ta’ Malta) dwar l-edukazzjoni bikrija tat-tfal u l-Covid-19.  esperjenza, il- Professur Paul Bartolo (Università ta’ Malta) dwar l-impatt tal-COVID fuq studenti b’diżabilità, u l- Professur Helen Cowie (Università ta’ Surrey, UK) dwar is-saħħa mentali tat-tfal tal-iskola matul il-COVID-19.

Aktar minn 120 parteċipant minn Malta u pajjiżi oħra pparteċipaw fis-seminar u kellhom l-opportunità li jagħmlu l-kummenti tagħhom u jistaqsu mistoqsijiet lill-panel fis-sessjoni finali tal-webinar.
